Despite these benefits, e-learning has some drawbacks. To begin with, students must be computer literate. Instructors also may need training to be able to teach electronically. Besides, students may miss the face-to-face interaction with instructors. The purchase of additional multimedia equipment may be necessary. Finally, assessing students’ work can be problematic because instructors really do not know who complete the assignments.
